1975
In order to know where you are going,
you must know just where you’ve been.
You must respect the Cougar history,
from where all things began!!!
It's true that all things are possible,
academics and sports can bring strife.
If you don't know where you came from,
you are bound to repeat some mistakes in life.
Yoder, Conrad and Kramer
Behm, Myers and Kriske too…
Respect their contributions,
and don't just say Conrad who?
Respect where things have come from,
and the players of the past.
Know your Cougar stories, ways and history,
it's what make this great game last.
Lamont Hilbert, Garman and Dale Wessner…number one-three,
they paid the price before you,
so you can play this game so free!
Jeffries, Haydt, Derr,
Tenaglia all were great men.
You have to know about them,
you need their beginning to your end.
Robert Sheetz and Dalton Kehm,
Kerry Loy, Rarick and Moll.
You have to know their history,
they all contributed their heart and soul.
Football has changed immensely,
things can not go back in time.
But to me...the ole Cougar football alumni,
made the game I know as mine.
Respect the ones before you,
the ones who laid the groundwork down.
The ones who bled true blue and white,
the non-pretenders in Kutztown!!!
Priori, Dry and Muth,
played the game with all their hearts.
Ream, Henninger and the rest,
they all played such important parts.
Every single generation,
should learn from those who passed and those alive.
Every single Cougar football player,
should know it all began in 1975.
David Moyer, Ziegler, Bauman and Brintzenhoff too,
they pushed the game right to it's limits,
now the pressure's upon you.
The new breed is on the field now,
they're the ones to lead the way.
Homecoming of 2042…….
you'll hear somebody say!!!
"Respect the players before you,
the ones who made us so proud.
Like, Roth, Hassler and David Hauk
they played this game so loud.
Fink, Walsh, and Hollenbach,
they brought it up a notch.
They were there to push the limits
and such a pleasure to sit and watch!
Ross, Gary Bryde and Stump,
Bruno, Schappell and all the rest.
They were players of the future,
they all respected the game the best.
In order to know where you are going,
you must know just where you’ve been.
You must respect the Cougar history,
from where all things began.
It's true that all things are possible,

If you don't know where you came from,
you are bound to repeat some mistakes in life!
